PURPOSE: To prevent the leakage of radioactive rays from open parts of plungers or pistons and protective cylinders. CONSTITUTION: A syringe for radioactive drugs having the protective cylinder for shielding radioactive rays in its outer peripheral part has the plunger 1 formed by compound molding of a radioactive ray shielding material affront end or the piston formed by compound molding of the radioactive ray shielding material on the side opposite to the surface which comes into contact with the drugs.
