In a multifunction display for motor vehicles in which, after operating an associated function switch, a plurality of functions can be represented on one display surface, there is a series of selector switches by means of which a group of generally related functions can be preselected and a series of function switches by means of which the functions can be individually selected from this group and represented on the display surface.
