<p>PURPOSE: To provide a voltage control device for an automobile alternator capable of suppressing the temperature rise of a driver element IC chip having the most serious effect of the temperature rise, miniaturizing the device, or outputting a large current. CONSTITUTION: A driver element Tr chip 4 for controlling the field current, a control circuit IC chip 5 controlling the feed of the base current to the driver element Tr chip 4, and a base current limiting resistive element 6 limiting the base current are arranged in the triangular relation on a circuit board 3 stuck to a radiating plate 2 fixed to the housing of a field current control type automobile alternator. Heating sources are dispersed, and the temperature rise of the driver element Tr chip 4 can be suppressed within the allowable temperature while the circuit board 3 is not enlarged.</p> |
