The invention relates to a process for ductile high-speed abrasion and a device for implementing it. The invention is characterised in that a monolithic abrasion tool in a plain bearing can be produced as a one-piece or one-piece-assembly rotary body with the greatest possible rotational accuracy both in the abrasion working region and in the bearing region in a clamping device, can be balanced for life using the original bearing positions and, owing to a natural surface structure of crystals of the tool composition, provides the largest possible number of active reliefs for ductile material removal. It is formed as a solid disc without a drilling with double the tensile strength, fitted with a powerful drive capable of increasing the revolution speed, using a drive centrifuge, in a fully controllable speed range, the teeth of the hollow driving wheel conveying a separating medium which ensures separation from the teeth of the driven wheel, thus largely reducing contact between solid bodies and ensuring a buffer separation between the drive and the tool with adequate power transmission without restricting the accessibility of the workpiece for the smallest possible tool diameter. |
