PURPOSE: To obtain a method for measuring easily the triboelectric potential of a developing roller member, a charging roller member and a fixing roller member. CONSTITUTION: A sheet-shaped sample 6 or a roller-shaped sample being rotatable, a flexible contact member 10 which can be brought into contact with and separated from the sample 6 and a charged voltage sensor 11 which is located on the downstream side in the direction of rotation of the sample 6 and detects a frictional charge potential in the vicinity of the contact member 10, are provided. The sheet-shaped sample 6 or the roller-shaped sample being rotated, the contact member 10 is brought into contact with the sample 6 and made to rub it and the frictional charge potential generated in the sample is measured by the charged voltage sensor 11. |
