<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat and pressure roll fixer with long service life. SOLUTION: Concerning such a roll fixer 10, a fixing roll 12 to be heated has a hard core provided with two elastomer layers 30 and 31. The outside elastomer layer 30 provides satisfactory toner release and satisfactory copy quality characteristics. The other elastomer layer 31 has high resistance against wearing caused by the touch of terminal part of paper.</p> |
