<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which situation can be recovered rapidly, even when wastewater overflows and the accumulation of deposits of sludge in a vacuum sewer can be prevented, by which energy can be economized and which is economical and has high reliability, in the vacuum sewerage system for sucking and accumulating wastewater from an inhabited area through the vacuum sewer. SOLUTION: A vacuum sewer 18 has a height profile comprising a sequence of low and high points 12 and 14. Waste water can accumulate at the low points while the system is at rest, and the wastewater accumulations are pushed from the low points over the subsequent high points, when air flows. The first and second sections of the vacuum sewer with different height profiles are provided, and the maximum volume of the wastewater accumulations at the low points of height profile is at least three times smaller than the maximum volume of the wastewater accumulations in height profile.</p> |
