Disclosed is a transmission system for an auxiliary signal to be extracted from/inserted into a terminal office and an IF repeater office for digital multiplexing microwave communication. The auxiliary signal transmission system multiplexes the frequencies of primary signals, and performs communication between a terminal office pair (T.O1, T.O2) and repeater offices (R.O1 - R.O3) that are located between them for extraction/insertion of auxiliary signals. In this system, the frequencies of the auxiliary signals are provided in the vacant areas in the frequency bands of the primary signals, and the auxiliary signals are transmitted from the repeater offices in a time-sharing manner. <IMAGE> |
