PURPOSE: To provide a KARAOKE (accompaniment to recorded music) system which enables a user to properly change playing conditions, background images, etc., according to the user's taste at every music and facilitates the operation of music selection. CONSTITUTION: The information on musical instruments for playing intervals and melody, background images, etc., is previously stored as a selector at every music in a data base 1. The user sets the machine at a selection mode at need after music selection by an operation section 4. At this time, a processing section 2 reads out the selector information on the selected music from the data base 1 and displays the information on a background image display device 6. The user selects the selector meeting his own taste therefrom. The processing section 2 forms the selection data changing the contents of the respective selectors relating to the music according to the result of the selection and passes the data through a card reading/writing device 3 to have the data stored on a card 31. On the other hand, the intervals, speeds or background images, etc., corresponding to the selected data are selected and are played/displayed. |
