摘要

PURPOSE: To freely edit information from the arbitrary picture positions of plural materials such as video/film editing in spite of a compression condition in the editing of compressed dynamic image data. CONSTITUTION: An expansion processing means 7 expands inputted image information 102 into expanded image information 105 which can be edited from the arbitrary image position. An image information storage means 4 temporarily stores image information 102 or expanded image information 105, and transmits stored information to an editing means 5. Expanded image information 105 and edited/expanded image information 106 obtained by editing expanded image information 105 are compressed by a compression processing means 8. The editing means 5 edits image information 102 and image information 102 from the compression processing means 8 and outputs it as edited image information 103 to an output means 6. Respective means are controlled by control information 120 of a control means 3.
