PURPOSE: To provide an LED head formed in such a manner that the spacings between LED chips are not affected by the cutting accuracy of substrates butted against each other. CONSTITUTION: The LED head formed by longitudinally connecting plural substrates having the LED chip arrays in a longitudinal direction is formed to a shape having a slope at which the joint part of the substrates 1, 2 is retreated from the front surface toward the rear surface. A wiring pattern is formed near to the front surface end part of the substrate 1, 2, and in addition, the ends of the LED chips connected to the wiring patterns are made into a structure made correspondent to the ends of the substrates 1, 2. |
