Track profiles connection system

One end of the profile (1) is joined to a moulding (3) which has two or more recesses (3a) with sloping walls and the end of the second profile (2) to be connected is joined to a second moulding (4) whose own projections (4a) equal the number of recesses (3a). Recesses and projections are arranged so they mate up when the profiles are joined, using a screw connection (5) between the two mouldings to draw the two profiles together. The profiles form part of a circular track etc. The recesses and projections are of truncately conical or truncately pyramidal shape, possibly using a number of mouldings to form the two for joining (3,4). The mouldings are centrally drilled out to take the connecting screw, but clear of the centre axis of recess and projection.
