摘要 PURPOSE:To provide an automatically correcting method for frequency characteristics inside the vehicle, which eliminates technical defect in the conventional method and acquires a frequency balance suitable for auditory sensation. CONSTITUTION:Two microphones 7a, 7b to pick up sound from a prescribed speaker inside a vehicle are fitted to a head rest 2 of a sheet 1 inside the vehicle and an output signal is obtained from the microphone 7a, 7b. Then the output signal is led to a head transfer function equalizer 8, in which convolution processing of a head transfer function is conducted so that the output signal is equivalent to a both-ear signal of HATS(head torso simulator). Furthermore, the output signal is led to a HATS correction device 9, in which the signal is corrected by applying a signal with a reverse characteristic to the HATS both ear characteristic in a free sound field to the signal. Finally, the characteristic of an equalizer 4, that is, a parameter is corrected so as to make the output signal from the HATS correction device 9 flat.
