Electricity generation set for series hybrid vehicle and stationary thermal plant

An electricity generation unit 3 for a series-hybrid vehicle drive is contained in a module along with the fuel tank and retaining elements which can be installed or removed easily from the vehicle. The unit has a fuel cell and an IC engine inside a self-supporting housing. After the module is removed from the vehicle, it becomes a component of a stationary thermal power plant 2. When removed, the module is easily dismantled into separate parts. When installed in the vehicle, the module slides into a special compartment and electrical connections with the vehicle are simultaneously plugged in by this sliding action.
