PURPOSE:To enable the restarting of an induction heating operation accurately in restoration from a power failure by stopping or controlling the operation of a drive circuit with the power failure detected by a power failure detection means while a drive circuit control means is provided to restart the operation of the drive circuit upon the restoration from the power failure. CONSTITUTION:An IH oscillation circuit 4 connected to a power source circuit 2 for IH oscillation is driven with an IH drive circuit 5 and when the power failure is detected by a power failure detection means 92 based on outputs of an input power adjusting means 93 and a heating control means 94, the circuit 5 is stopped or controlled. In addition, an input current to the power circuit 2 is detected below a lower limit value by an input current lower limit detection means 97 and when it is below the lower limit value, the heating control means 94 and the drive circuit 5 are stopped or controlled by a circuit abnormality detection means 99 through a delay means 98. Delay time is set longer by the delay means 98 than the time until the power failure is detected by the power failure detection means 92 when the power failure occurs. |
