<p>PURPOSE:To increase oil recovery efficiency by forming a silencer chamber at the delivery passage of refrigerant gas delivered from a compression chamber, housing a cylindrical oil separator in the silencer chamber and whirling the refrigerant gas around the oil separator for the centrifugal separation of oil. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a clutch-less compressor, refrigerant gas delivered from a compression chamber in a cylinder bore 1-1 to a delivery chamber 3-2 is further delivered to the refrigerant gas whirling chamber 10-1 of a silencer chamber 10 via a delivery passage 12, and made to whirl around a cylindrical oil separator 11. This whirl flow of the gas enters the cylinder of the oil separator 11 via one opening 11-1 thereof, and is delivered to an outer refrigerant gas circuit 14 via the other opening 11-2. In this case, mist type lubricating oil contained in the refrigerant gas is separated therefrom, due to centrifugal action at the time of generating the whirl flow, and the separated lubricating oil is discharged to an oil reservoir 10-2 via an oil passage 1-4.</p> |
