<p>PURPOSE:To connect the lever of a parking brake to a camshaft easily by positioning it at a desired angle in the case of a disc brake. CONSTITUTION:A lever 12 has a double-chamfered attachment hole 29, and a camshaft 11 has an attachment part 30 formed on its one end 11b so as to fit in the attachment hole 29. A projection part 32 is provided on the corner of the attachment part 30. The camshaft 11 and the lever 12 are connected to each other by welding the double chamber 33 of the attachment hole 29 and the double chamber 31 of the attachment part 30 through projection welding by bringing the edge 34 of the attachment hole 29 in contact with a projection 32. Fitting of the attachment part 30 into the double chamfered hole 29 can reliably position the camshaft 11 and the lever 12 at a desired attachment angle and easily connect them together by welding.</p> |
