X-RAY TELEVISION IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a video signal having wide dynamic range and a large amount of information with a simple constitution, by arranging a filter in an X-ray passing area in the stage before a image pickup tube. CONSTITUTION:An X-ray emitted from an X-ray tube bulb 1 permeates an object 2 and makes incident to an X-ray image amplifier 3 to convert the X-ray permeated image of the object 2 to the image of visible light. The image of visible light is fed to an image pickup tube 5 through an optical system 4 and converted to a video signal. If the video sigal is directly transmitted to a television monitor 6, the X-ray permeated image is displayed on its screen as it is. A thin film like filter 7 is inserted between the object 2 and X-ray image amplifier 3, or between the X-ray tube bulb 1 and object 2. The filter 7 is made by forming many slit like long and narrow open parts on the film of materials such as Pb, W and Au which attenuates the X-ray.
