<p>PURPOSE:To stop outflow or limit a flow rate of low-temperature water from main bodies of electric water heaters sequentially and thereby to prevent lowering of the temperature of hot water by a construction wherein a mechanical control valve opening and closing on detection of the temperature of the hot water is provided in the vicinity of a hot water supply port of each of the main bodies of the electric water heaters in a plurality connected together in juxtaposition. CONSTITUTION:In a plurality of main bodies 8 and 9 of electric water heaters, the respective water supply ports 8a and 9a in the lower parts thereof are connected to a water supply pipe 10 through connecting pipes 11 and 12, while the respective hot water supply ports 8b and 9b in the upper parts thereof are connected to a hot water supply pipe 13 through connecting pipes 14 and 15. In this case, mechanical control valves 30 and 31 opening and closing on detection of the temperature of hot water are provided in the vicinity of the hot water supply ports 8b and 9b respectively. By the mechanical control valves 30 and 31, outflow of low-temperature water from the main bodies 8 and 9 of the electric water heaters is stopped or a flow rate thereof is limited sequentially, first from the one of which the hot water is used up earlier. Thereby mixing-in of the low-temperature water is avoided and lowering of the temperature of the hot water is prevented.</p> |
