PURPOSE:To provide an operating pedal device which is comparatively simply and strongly structured and low-priced and further smoothly enables a forward/ backward control operation with a manual operation. CONSTITUTION:An operating pedal 18 to be turned around a supporting shaft 16 is arranged at a slide member 34 arranged at a bracket 14 fixed on a car body 12 so as to be moved forward and backward in a vehicle, this operating pedal is engaged through a pole 74 and ratchet member 72 to a rod 32. On the other hand, a shaft 50 arranged on the slide member 34 so as not to be relatively moved back and forth in the vehicle is turned to an unlock position around a shaft center, the slide member 34 is moved forward and backward in the vehicle by canceling the engagement of a lock pin 54 and an engaging hole formed on the bracket 14 but not shown in figure, and the lock pin 54 and the engaging hole are engaged by turning the shaft 50 to the lock position around the shaft center. Thus, the slide member 34 can be set at plural positions forward or backward in the vehicle. |
