PURPOSE:To increase the available capacity of a writing utensil in the writing utensil such as a marking pen and also to fix both the body of the writing utensil and a front barrel by press fitting and to enhance airtightness of the writing utensil. CONSTITUTION:This writing utensil 2 is mainly constituted of the body 4 of the writing utensil which holds ink in the inside and is equipped with a cylindrical opening part 4a, a front barrel 6 fixed to the opening part 4a and a nib 8 inserted into the front barrel 6. The body 4 of the writing utensil is formed by injection blow molding. The part containing at least an ink chamber 4b in the body 4 of the writing utensil is formed by blow molding. The part for fixing at least the front barrel 6 in the opening part 4a is formed by injection molding in a time for molding parison. Therefore, the wall thickness of the ink chamber 4b is made thin in the lower limit and made uniform by blow molding and thereby the available capacity of the body 4 of the writing utensil is increased. A projection 16 is provided by injection molding and the front barrel 6 is fixed in the body 4 of the writing utensil by press fitting. |
