PURPOSE:To restore a necessary document or picture even if the it is erased from a screen by mistake by restoring data on a character which is deleted once from the screen by deletion or correction by operating an undo function key and a correcting function key. CONSTITUTION:If the character etc., is deleted or a correction character or the like is inputted onto the character etc., start point address data and mode data of deletion data and data on characters etc., from a start point to an end point are temporarily stored in auxiliary storage part. Then the start point address data are read out of the auxiliary storage part 1 with the undo function key 1a pressed at need and a cursor is moved to the deletion start position; and data on the character etc., before deletion are read out of the auxiliary storage part 11 with the correcting function key 1b pressed and the character etc., is restored. Consequently, even if the necessary document or picture is erased from the screen by mistake, the necessary document or picture can be stored. |
