<p>PURPOSE:To perform power supply monitoring high in reliability with voltage drop taken into consideration, which is followed by an actual operation, in the power supply monitor device which is mounted on an electronic equipment driven by cells such as PDA and the like, and monitors the condition of a power supply. CONSTITUTION:When respective communication modes and a card access mode are set by operating the 'IR' key 12a, ['232c' key 12b and 'card' key 12c of a key input section 12, pseudo load data corresponding to the respective modes is read out of a pseudo load level setting ROM 20 so as to be latched on the latch circuit of a power supply monitor section 19. The switch of the pseudo load circuit is selectively turned on/off so as to be combined with a resistance, pseudo load corresponding to each operation mode is applied to a power supply, concurrently the voltage of the power supply is measured, the condition of the power supply is judged as good or not depending on whether or not the measured voltage is greater than each of the corresponding necessary lowest voltage data V1 through V4, and a message on the abnormal condition of the power supply and the like are indicated on a liquid crystal display section 21.</p> |
