The power factor correcting and filtering set (1) comprises a plurality of capacitors (5, 7) and reactors (6, 8). In order to keep small the overall dimensions and consequently the costs of the set, the reactors (6, 8) are arranged on a same core (12) in which a common central yoke (17) enables the magnetic flux to be closed.
