摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve delivery efficiency and to improve suction efficiency owing to reduction of remaining gas. CONSTITUTION:A double-end piston 30 is contained in cylinder bores 26 and 27 and compression chambers Pa and Pb are partitioned by the double-end piston 30. Housings 5 and 6 are joined with the end faces of cylinder blocks 1 and 2 and annular delivery chambers 37 and 38 are formed in the housings 5 and 6. The compression chambers Pa and Pb and the cylinder bores 26 and 27 are interconnected through delivery ports 46 and 47, extending throughout the whole areas of the end faces 26a and 27a of the cylinder bores 26 and 27, and delivery valves 48 and 49 with which the delivery ports 46 and 47 are covered. Compressed refrigerant gas is delivered in delivery chambers 37 and 38 without being throttled. Delivery is completed without residence of refrigerant gas in the cylinder bores 26 and 27.</p>
