PURPOSE:To provide dielectric ceramics and a method for manufacturing the same, where a high dielectric constant is harmonized with a low loss and dielectric characteristics can be controlled over a large range. CONSTITUTION:Dielectric ceramics includes substantially BaO, Ln2O3, MgO, Ta2O5 and TiO2, and having a composition expressed by a general formula: BaO.yLn2O3.(x/3)MgO.(x/3)Ta2O5.-5yTiO2 (wherein x+y=1, x ranges 0.05-0.95, and Ln represents a rare earth element). |
