Solid state bicycloheptenone-imide or -anhydride base compound of formula (I) can be used as a photofluorescent agent. And it also can be used for a secret sign, password, or security ink or coating. The usage comprises : 1)printing the compound of (I) on the substrate and evaporating the solvent, 2)transforming the compound of (I) to (II) by irradiating 254nm UV on the sign for 0.1-300sec, and 3)irradiating 365nm UV, generating a strong blue light.
