<p>A stretcher for moving injured or sick persons, in particular in narrow spaces. The stretcher is made of flexible sheet material, such as plastic, and comprises a base, means for securing the patient to the base and carrying means for carrying the stretcher. The base comprises a protecting sheet (12), which at least partly is wider than the patient (16) to be carried and which at breast height (A) of the patient is wider than at leg height (B) of the patient. The base is provided with bottom stiffeners (42, 44, 46) and fastening means (32, 34), by means of which the edges of the protecting sheet are secured around the patient.</p> |
