Flexible connection adaptor for thermal element protection tube used e.g. for temp. measurement in casting industry

The adapter (8) forms a flexible holder for a thermal element tube and includes a spring in the form of metal bellows (9), open at both ends. A hollow connector (10) holds the adapter to the lead tube. A similar connector (11) holds the thermal element tube (1) in place at the bottom of the adapter. A gate element (2) with a gas-tight gasket (7), spanning ring (3) and shawl (4) may be used in addition to hold the tube to the adapter. It is essential that the coil (9) is made of spark and heat resistant steel. Moulded screw or clamps fasteners (10, 11) can be used.
