Tumbler pin system with different pin types for cylinder locks

The tumbler pin system consists of two or more types of cylinder pins (1,2) and their complementary key shaft notches cut to the same angle. Each type of cylinder pin has its own particular angle at the point (6,7) to match the angle of the notch. When matched the pin height (8) will allow the key (9) to be turned. Two or more different angles of notch can be superimposed to form a combined notch (5). This will allow a cylinder pin of any of the series of point angles to be positioned at the correct height for opening. Further combinations can be achieved by having two or more cylinder diameters or particular key sections.
