PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the connecting end portion of a flat cable. CONSTITUTION:A printed board 1 is provided with a signal contact 11 of a signal circuit terminal and an earth contact 12 of an earth circuit. A holder 40 is soldered to the earth contact 12 and a connector 2 is secured to the printed board 1. A terminal 30 is securely connected to the signal contact 11 by soldering. The connecting end portion of a flat cable 60 is inserted between the terminal 30 and the holder 40 and a sliding member 50 is pressed in between the terminal 30 and the holder 40. Therefore, a conductor 62 exposed to one side of the flat cable 60 is connected to the terminal 30 and shield foil 64 exposed to the other side is connected to the holder 40. So the shield foil 64 is connected to the earth circuit from the earth contact 12 via a holder 2 and electric charge accumulating on the shield foil 64 is passed to the earth circuit. |
