<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the inclination of emission charges and luminance of an electronic source consisting of plural surface conductive electron emission arranged in matrix and an image forming device using it. CONSTITUTION:A multi-electronic source 404 is arranged with the surface conductive electron emission elements in matrix. A drive control circuit 401 inputs a scanning signal to scanning signal drive systems 403, 404 based on an input signal, and inputs a data signal to a data signal drive system 402 by synchronizing it with the scanning signal. The scanning signal drive systems apply the scanning signal from the drive systems 1, 2 for every prescribed number of lines to the electronic source alternately corresponding to the inputted scanning signal. In such a manner, by applying the scanning signal from both ends of the line, the drop of an element voltage caused by the resistance of the wiring is dispersed into both ends, and the emission charges of the electronic source is prevented from being biased as a whole.</p> |
