METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MULTIMEDIA EDITING AND DATA RECOVERY

PURPOSE: To provide a multimedia file compilation/data restoration system which can precisely and speedily compile multimedia files. CONSTITUTION: Multimedia file segments in multimedia files 224 and 226 which are compiled by using a special connected list compiling structure are arranged. The respective multimedia file segments are constituted of several continuous data units being parts in a multimedia file even if the file segments are physically inputted to the different files. It is preferable that the data unit is the number of bytes. The connection lists are arranged as plural nodes 200 and 202 and the respective nodes show single file segments. The connection lists arrange all the file segments and form the whole multimedia files.
