The assembly device is used for a file mechanism (5) with at least one fixing opening and has a displacement device (8) and a fine positioning device (11) for the file mechanism. The fine positioning device uses at least one conical pin fitted axially in each fixing opening. Pref. the conical pin is supported by a stroke device (12) which reciprocates in the displacement direction (14), between a positioning position (11) and a mounting position (3). A light barrier (9) may provide a coarse positioning device for the file mechanism.
