A holder element (4) in a transverse carrier (1) can be displaced towards one edge of the plug assembly, whereby the opposite edge engages a plug guide or connector. The transverse carrier works in conjunction with the holder element in a latching connection to prevent unauthorised removal of the plug assembly in the direction of displacement of the holder. The transverse carrier has a recess for accepting the holder element, whereby the transverse carrier has latching protrusions (6) on at least one side of the recesses and the holder element has latching grooves (5) on at least one side.
