PURPOSE:To provide an image recorder capable of preventing developer suspending in the image recorder and adverse effect on a control substrate by the heat of a thermal fixing unit. CONSTITUTION:In this image recorder 1, an image is recorded on recording paper 4 fed from paper supply parts 2, 6 and 7 in an image forming part, and the image on the recording paper 4 is fixed by using the thermal fixing unit 22. The recorder is provided with the control substrates 31a and 31b arranged below the image forming part and the thermal fixing unit 22 and a shielding member 32a consisting of synthetic resin and disposed between the image forming part, the thermal fixing unit 22 and the control substrates 31a and 31b so as to cover the upper surfaces of the control substrates 31a and 31b. |
