AIR BAG'S FABRIC MAKING METHOD

The fabric for an air bag of vehicles is produced by (a) polymerizing a 1,6-diaminohexane with an adipic acid at high temperature and pressurization to obtain a water soluble polyamide salt, (b) adding 68ppm copper and 582ppm potassium to the polyamide salt, (c) polycondensing the mixture at the reducing pressure to obtain a nylon 66 chip, (d) solid phase polymerizing the chip to have 3.12 relative viscosity, (e) melt spinning the chip by the spin draw method to obtain a nylon 66 yarn, and (f) weaving the yarn at 20-25 cover factor. The fabric has a high heat resistance.
