AQUEOUS ORGANIC PIGMENT DISPERSION

PURPOSE:To provide the dispersion from which alkali metals are removed effectively by a simple inexpensive method. CONSTITUTION:This dispersion is one in which the dispersed organic pigment (e.g. copper phthalocyanine chloride) is in the form of finely divided particles (of a mean particle diameter of 115nm), from which alkali metals (e.g. Na and K) are removed by contact with and adsorption by a cation-exchange resin and from which the cation-exchange resin is separated.
