<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a necessary picture from erroneously being eliminated at the time of recording. CONSTITUTION:In a video tape recorder 1, the switch of a recording circuit is turned off not only when the switch of the recording circuit is turned off but also when the recording circuit is opened by turning off a main switch so as to prevent recording from immediately being conducted when the switch is turned on as in the same way as most video tape recorders. The main switch 2 of the video tape recorder 1 operates as the switch of a reproduction mechanism 3 at the same time. When the main switch 2 is turned on, reproduction is immediately started. Since a video recording mechanism 4 does not conduct video recording since the switch 5 is turned off as before. Namely, the video tape recorder is reproduced and recording is conducted after the picture of the tape is viewed. Thus, an error that a different picture is recorded on the picture which is not to be eliminated so as to eliminate the original picture is prevented.</p> |
