PURPOSE:To carry a card stably and surely by generating multimodal vibrations synthesized from a radial vibration and a nonaxisymmetric in-plane vibration through supplying a two-phase high frequency voltage to a vibration plate, and by moving a card carrying board together with the vibration plate along leading guides, and further, by obtaining a stable pressing force and contact regardless of the position of the vibration plate. CONSTITUTION:By high frequency power supplies 61, 62, the high frequency voltages of 90 degrees phase difference PHI are applied to respective electrodes 51, 52 of a vibration plate 1. Then, multimodal vibrations, which are nonaxisymmetric in-plane vibrations, are caused simultaneously. The frictional force, caused by contacting the vibration plate 1 with leading guides 30, 31 through utilizing these multimodal vibrations, is converted to the force for carrying a card carrying board 2. Also, energizing means 35 for pressing the leading guides 30, 31 in contact with the vibration plate 1 are provided. Therefore, when the card carrying board 2 moves together with the vibration plate 1, the energizing means 35 move with them in a body, and their positional relations relative to the vibration plate 1 are not changed. Thereby, a card can be carried stably and surely. |
