PURPOSE:To control an ink pump under highly accurate pressure so as to obtain a high speed rising time. CONSTITUTION:The circumferential temp. Ts is measured at the start time of printing (S1) and, when the absolute value of the difference between the circumferential temp. Ts and the circumferential temp. TM at the time of the completion of previous printing is equal to or more than prescribed temp. difference DELTATr (No in S2), the estimate equilibrium pressure Ps being the estimate value of equilibrium pressure Po equilibrated with a prescribed flow rate Qo is calculated using the circumferential temp. Ts (S3). Ink is pressurized to the estimate equilibrium pressure Ps (S4) and controlled to constant pressure under the estimate equilibrium pressure Ps to measure a flow rate Qs (S5) and the correction equilibrium pressure PT equilibrated with the prescribed flow rate Qo is calculated on the basis of the difference between the prescribed flow rate Qo and the measured flow rate Qs and the circumferential temp. Ts (S6) and the ink is pressurized to the correction equilibrium pressure PT from the estimate equilibrium pressure Ps (S7). When the absolute value of the difference between the circumferential temp. Ts and the circumferential temp. TM is equal to or below the prescribed temp. difference DELTATr (Yes in S2), the ink is pressurized to the equilibrium pressure PM at the time of the completion of previous printing (S8). |
