PURPOSE:To achieve the stabilization and rationalization of quality in process control by clearly forming a clear print even when printing is applied to a molded article composed of a compsn. prepared by compounding a specific amt. of a specific compd. with a polyolefinic resin by laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The surface (smooth surface part 1 and rough surface part 2) of a molded article composed of a polyolefinic resin compsn. prepared by compounding 0.05-1.0 pts.wt. of ultramarine with 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefinic resin is irradiated with laser beam to apply printing to a printing part 3. Ultramarine is sulfur-containing sodium-aluminosilicate. Therefore, the transmission of laser beam is eliminated by the mutual action of these substances and the clear printing part 3 is formed on the surface of the molded article A by laser beam. Especially, since extremely clear printing can be formed on the rough surface part 2, even when the printing surface of the molded article A is rough, it is unnecessary to perform treatment making the rough surface smooth. |
