PURPOSE:To improve quality of a molded form by eliminating back f-low without providing a reverse flow preventing valve, avoiding resin retention, and avoiding adverse influences of reduction of an injecting pressure, reduction of injecting amount, etc. CONSTITUTION:An injection molding machine 2 comprises a heating cylinder 6 having a nozzle 4 at its end, and a conical screw 8 rotatable in the cylinder 6 and telescopically provided in an axial direction of the cylinder 6. A plunger 10 is telescopically provided in an axial direction of the cylinder 6 in the screw 8. A plunger space 12 is formed as a molten resin storage unit in an end side of the screw 8 to meter the molten resin without providing a storage space between the cylinder 6 and the screw 8. An inner surface of the cylinder 6 is brought into contact with the end of the screw 8 by the advancing operation of the screw 8 to prevent reverse flow of the resin. |
