<p>A high-frequency picture transmission system including a number of picture pick-up units (Ci) comprising a camera, a receiver (HFR) and a transmitter (HFE) for transmitting a video signal to a control room unit (S), and two video channels for transmission at first and second predetermined carrier frequencies (Fi, Fj) respectively. The system is characterised in that said control room unit includes a control unit (UC) for transmitting a radio control signal to said picture pick-up units, remotely controlling their operation and supervising the allocation of said channels so that one of the channels transmits a first video signal from a selected picture pick-up unit at one of said carrier frequencies (F1, F2) while the other channel transmits a second video signal, generated by time-division multiplexing of signals from other picture pick-up units, at the other frequency.</p> |
