PURPOSE:To display pictures of plural participants on the screen of a terminal even in the picture switching system. CONSTITUTION:An input picture 70 is written in one of four storage areas 74a, 74b, 74c, and 74d of a picture memory 74 by a switch 72. The input picture 70 is transmitted from a multi-spot connection controller. A display driver 76 reads out picture data stored in the picture memory 74 in order and displays the picture on the screen of a picture display device 78 like a CRT. Actually, the switch 72 is realized by software which changes the start point and the end point of the write address of the picture memory 74. The switch 72 is switched to change the storage area, where the input picture 70 should be written, in accordance with the report of the speaker change from the multi-spot connection controller. The picture received at present is displayed as a moving picture, and pictures received in the past are displayed as still pictures. |
