PURPOSE:To provide a picking device free from maintenance which requires no battery replacement by providing a display control means for displaying the article name and number to pick from an article shelf corresponding to the present position of a picking truck on the basis of a picking plan data. CONSTITUTION:When a picking truck 1 is traveled, a magnet marker is stuck to the corner of a passage, and a light reflecting tape is stuck to the lower part of each article shelf. The light reflecting tape is detected by a photoelectric sensor 6, the magnet marker is detected by a magnetic sensor 5, and the respective detection signals are transmitted to a control part 8. A present position calculating part receives these signals and compares the measured traveling distance with the scheduled traveling distance information on the traveling route. When the comparison result is out of the error range, an alarm is outputted to notify a worker of it. When the picking work is performed in a picking block, a necessary picking plan data is read from a traveling route memory part, and given to a display control part to display it by a liquid crystal display device 10. |
