PURPOSE: To provide a light distributor which introduces the light from a light source to an optical ring surface, formed by combining the end faces of many light pipes while maintaining a low-heat distribution by using the reflecting surface of a light collector and, in addition, illuminates a necessary spot of a vehicle by introducing light to the spot through the light pipes. CONSTITUTION: A light distribution system contains a light source and a plurality of optical pipes 28, having fixed relations with the light source, and each optical pipe has an end face. The end faces of the pipes 28 form a ring surface and an opening 20 housing the light source, and pipes 28 is provided in a housing 10. The system illuminates a necessary spot, such as the instrument panel 64, radio 66, dome reflector, vanity mirror of sunvisor, etc., of a vehicle by introducing the light from the light source to the necessary spot through the pipes 28, after the light has been reflected to the ring surface by a reflecting surface 16. |
