Power charging parking system for electrical road vehicles

A recharging facility for electric road vehicles has a parking place for such as taxis (3) that plug into power take off points on a carousel system (1). At the entrance to the system is a terminal that includes a reader for use with charge cards. The terminal directs the vehicle to the next available take off point. When the foremost taxi is complete, the remaining vehicles are indexed forward. An alternative arrangement has parking bays with blocking posts to ensure correct parking.
