PURPOSE:To provide a screw for a resin molding machine which can acclerate the high kneading operation and the high plasticizing operation by the low revolution and shorten the metering time. CONSTITUTION:In a screw 1 for a resin molding machine forming a feed zone FZ, a compression zone CZ and a metering zone MZ, a tapered screw section 4, in which a screw shaft 7 is formed into the tapered shape between the feed zone FZ and the compression zone CZ, is formed, and a reverse tapered section 10, in which a screw shaft 9 between first main flights 5 in the compression zone cz is formed, is formed successively to the tapered screw section 4. A screw shaft 11 is formed into the tapered shape in an area in the compression zone CZ being brought into contact with the metering zone MZ, and sub-flights 8 with outer diameter increasing gradually in the injection direction is disposed between the main flights 5, and the main flights 5 are joined by the sub-flights 8 in the metering zone MZ. |
