<p>PURPOSE:To provide a lumen medical equipment which is easily inserted into carrier tools such as a catheter by making it from a thermal shrinkage resin to allow the equipment to easily be shrunk with its expandability maintained in the lumen medical equipment that is inserted into lumen and is expanded to perform medical care. CONSTITUTION:A stent 1 is inserted into a thermal shrinkage tube 2 and thermal-shrunk to be a stent 10, and is inserted into the tip of a catheter 3. The stent 1, which is used to perform the medical care of dessecting aneurysm of the aorta, is produced in that a sheet material which is obtained by weaving Ni-Ti alloy wire as a woof and polyester monofilament as a warp is rounded in a cylindrical shape. This rounded stent 1 is inserted into a polyester-made thermal shrinkage tube 2 and is shrunk by heating processing. The shrunk stent 1 is easily inserted into the tip of the catheter 3 by inserting the exposed portion of the stent 1 into the tip of the catheter 3 and by peeling off the thermal shrinkage tube 2 from a notch 4 to push it into the catheter 3 with fingers.</p> |
